Mark Twain said “”The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who can’t read them.”
Much the same can be said for art in any form. The vast majority of you, my readers, live in or around urban metropolises. So let us appropriate Twain’s comment — the person who chooses not to access the arts has no advantage over the person who has no access.
Right now, in cities around the world, e-newsletters are being sent. Galleries, museums, symphonies, theatres — they are reaching out to you, their patrons, and crooking a finger towards the best, the absolute very best programming their venue can offer you. Why are you not there right now?
